When will I receive my designs?
Most requests are completed in just two working days or less. Larger projects (e.g. annual reports, complete websites, etc.) naturally take longer.
How does onboarding work?
After subscribing, we’ll set up a custom Trello board just for you. This usually happens within an hour after your subscription has processed. Simply accept the emailed Trello invitation and we’ll be ready to get started.
Detailed instructions on how to request designs or manage their priority can be found on the Trello board itself.
How many requests I can make?
Once subscribed, you can add any number of requests to your queue. We’ll work through that list one-by-one in the priority you have assigned.
What if I only have one request?
That’s cool. Simply pause your subscription after your first job is complete. Come back any time to restart the subscription an use up your remaining time.
How do I request designs?
All of your requests will be handled through your Trello board. This is a really flexible solution, as you can enter a request directly, share a Google Doc, or even share a brief video.
Are there requests you don’t take?
Definitely. We really specialize in print and web design. 3D modeling, video production, and animation are outside of our wheelhouse. If in doubt, just ask!
What if I don’t like the design?
No problem! Not every design can be a winner on the first try. We’ll keep revising until you’re fully satisfied.
Who are the designers?
The Ordinary Co. is run by Jesse and Jamie, a husband and wife team. Jesse handles design, while Jamie offers consulting and administrative tasks. We doe not employ other designers or outsource any work. We’ll handle your jobs directly throughout your time with us.
How does the pause feature work?
If you don’t have enough design work to keep us busy for an entire month, you can pause your subscription at any time.
Our billing cycle is based on a 30-day period. If, for example, you pause your subscription on day 19, you will have 11 days of service remaining. Restart your subscription whenever you are ready to use up the remaining time.
Are there any refunds?
Our work is of professional quality and is highly dependent on our time. We do not offer refunds beyond the first week of service. If you’re not satisfied with our service after the first week, we’ll refund 75% of your subscription price. No questions asked!
